Often times, healing comes from practice and learning through experience. The DBT groups are 2 hours, modeled after the Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) approach. These groups are ideal for those who need an increased ability to manage stress, deal with others more effectively, stabilize mood, and create a sense of control in one's life.

This support group is an excellent way to receive the positive and uplifting motivation needed as you are taking your personal journey toward overall wellness. This group is beneficial whether used alone or in conjunction with other groups, programs, or sessions. Used in conjunction with the practice of DBT skills, this group will keep you on track with S.T.R.O.N.G for basics in emotional regulation and sense of well-being (Sleep, Take medications as prescribed, Resist drugs and alcohol, Nutrition, and Get exercise). If you just want to feel better, or desire the energy to live a life worth living at your peak performance, then starting with the body is an important step toward overall recovery.
Wellness 101 Support group offers education and support in the areas of wellness, fitness essentials, and core nutrition each week, to aid in bridging the body-mind-spirit gap for optimal performance and sense of well-being. Personalized goal planning by a Certified PT/Nutritional Advisor is also available upon request, as well as optional programs and nutritional supplements (for additional charge). Group attendees will receive motivational support for success in fitness/wellness goals (includes handouts & workbooks), and support in creating and maintaining nutritional habits to maintain an active, healthy, balanced lifestyle while sustaining energy throughout the day!
